Motorcycle manufacturer Yamaha held a competition for 64 of its Brazilian suppliers aimed at reducing quality costs. ThyssenKrupp Metalúrgica Santa Luzia has won the 1st prize with its project “Optimizing production processes for Yamaha crankshafts”.
The segment Automotive of the industrial manufacturer Eaton awarded ThyssenKrupp Metalúrgica Campo Limpo with the ‘Excellence Award 2006’. ThyssenKrupp Metalúrgica Campo Limpo delivers transmission parts to Eaton.
The company received the ‘InterAção Award 2006’ in the category ‘Quality-Metal’ from DaimlerChrysler Brazil.
Both prices are awarded to suppliers in recognition of their quality and delivery performances.
