Daimler honors ThyssenKrupp Gerlach

ThyssenKrupp Gerlach has won the Daimler Supplier Award in the category “Mercedes Benz Cars and Vans – Powertrain” for outstanding performance in the areas of quality, costs, delivery performance, technology and innovation.

At the award ceremony in Stuttgart, Dr. Dieter Zetsche, Daimler AG CEO, emphasized the importance of suppliers for Daimler. Looking ahead to the future he said: “We want the best or nothing. It’s what we expect of ourselves, and of you.”

ThyssenKrupp Gerlach is a member of the ThyssenKrupp Forging Group specializing in forged crankshafts. The Homburg-based company sees itself as a full-service supplier, supporting customers from development to delivery and profiting from the outstanding forging and materials expertise pooled in the ThyssenKrupp Forging Group.

An abiding focus of ThyssenKrupp Gerlach is to develop competitive, weight-optimized products using innovative materials and processes.
